2. New force product portfolio
2. New force product portfolio
Forward, with full force! At WIKA, we are going full-throttle in the field of force measurement - the force product portfolio has been completely revised and now covers all industrial application areas. From miniature compression force transducers for the smallest installation spaces through our evergreen tension/compression force transducers, for example, for linear drives or welding tongs, right up to customer-specific load pins, for when non-measuring bolts need to be replaced, WIKA has the corresponding transducer in its product range.

For more details, see the individual product overview pages on the WIKA website. Do you want to know which sensor technologies are available for force measurement? You can find our new video about industrial force sensors on our YouTube channel.

3. Force measurement in electric linear drives
3. Force measurement in electric linear drives
At present, a transformation is taking place, with linear drives taking the place of pneumatic and hydraulic drives. Hydraulically- and pneumatically-powered drive elements are being replaced with a combination of electric motors and mechanical thrust units. This change offers the perfect opportunity to measure forces directly in the process. Force measurement can be used with practically any linear drive.

For further details, read our complete trade article or our blog post on the subject of linear drives. Should you have any questions on the subject of force measurement, take a look on our website.
