Directs and coordinates strategic initiatives for multiple facilities occupancy and usage.

 

Facilities and Building Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for planning, budgeting, and scheduling
    facilities modifications.  This includes cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
  • Selects and manages contractors and sub- contractors.
    Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
  • Manages, reviews and maintains facility improvement/re-design contracts.
  • Oversees building space allocation, layout, and services.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in industrial/civil/mechanical engineering
  • 5-10 Years of experience in Facility Management
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge desired
  • 2+ years of facilities design experience at a medium to large manufacturing or distribution facility
  • 2+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in building construction, interior design, electrical systems, HVAC and furniture systems .
  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD programs desirable.
