The SF6-IR-Monitor was specifically designed to detect unsafe SF6 gas levels in enclosed indoor environments. During manufacturing processes utilizing SF6 gas or at indoor substations, the concentration of SF6 gas might increase over time to unhealthy levels due to leakage. The SF6-IR-Monitor sounds an alarm at a pre-determined concentration level specified by the customer.
